How could Johnny Depp be responsible for all these recent Pirate attacks? In the movie, you rarely see Pirates plundering ships and stealing. In the first movie, Barbossa did that, but he was the "bad" pirate and Sparrow was the "good" pirate. Very dumb, indeed.

It's not as simple as that.

I'm embarrassed to have the same first name as this guy. There is possibly SOME validity in this. Right after little kids watch the Power Rangers the first thing they do is pretend to kung fu and knock over things.

The way this was written made me cringe.

The fact is that pop culture finds evil far more interesting than those who fight it, with the killer being cool and the Christian always the punch line.

Not worse than Hitler in a literal sense. He just meant as a person in general, you'd be worse than Hitler by disagreeing with him. (And Nazi's did more than just kill Jews)
