Looking back at 2008

We have had some good things happen. But along with the good we had some bad things happen. My dad had a heart attack in January but has made a full recovery YAY!!! My nephew graduated from High school. Rob and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary in June and got to spend it at Disneyland. I got to go home for a month to see my family in Oregon. Rob got a nice quiet break from ME!!! I went back to school at the age of 42 to get my Early Childhood Educations Credits I am almost finished with my first 6 units...Yay only 6 more to go to get my 12 units. I am subbing for Santa Barbara County and hoping to get hired on permantly.... And just got back from a wonderful trip to Disneyland where I got to see Tinkerbell.

my grandma had a heart attack too, but is doing ok. She also had to go on dialysis, but she's taking it well. Most times she acts like she did before dialysis, which is great.

I hope 2009 will be much better!

Glad to hear you grandma is doing so well pirateguy. Does your grandma live close to you? That is great if she does. Unfortunately my dad lives in Oregon and it's really hard to be so far away from him when he is sick. But your right 2009 will be better.

On SNL, Hough Laurie said the only thing good this year was the exciting Presidential Election, and even that was bad for half of Americans. He was right.

Thanks pirateguy my dad is doing well. He has made a full recovery. It's just hard being so far away.

2008 was mostly pretty good for me.

Though, the best that came with it was finding the one I'm going to be with. Seriously, I am very thankful that I have Iframed.
He has changed my life for the better, and even though it's tough right now I know we'll get through it together because I love him!

Glad to hear you had a great year in 2008 pixelteddy. It's always nice when you find that special person that can be their for you in your life. I hope 2009 brings you even more happiness...

Dad had aneurysm.
Graduated but no job.

Yeah, I'm liking 2009's chances at being a little bit better =)
