Its a pun. DCA has numerous puns, i.e California Screamin' = "California Dreamin'", MaliBOOMer, etc...

It's just another Disney pun.... Rock It... Rocket.. Noting the "rock" music/whatever part, while maintaining the space theme.

I don't find anything wrong with the name... It doesn't promote "bad spelling" at all, IMHO.

Nothing wrong with a little extra money. It is a business, after all. Besides, that's where new rides come from...and paint.

Not to mention the sign is lit all the time. If it was out you wouldn't be able to see the letters, just how you can't see Rock It when not lit.
