I couldn't help but notice that the crowds along the parade route were a little... sparse. Now that the 2Fer1 offer is over, DCA is suddenly not very busy. There was just one single row of people standing along the street for this show, with some big patches of curb past Golden Dreams with no one at all along the curb line. This type of performance really has a great deal of potential, as long as there is a decent crowd there to get the vibe going in the first place. Let's hope DCA can pull them in this summer so they can get a bigger crowd than was there on Saturday, April 30th.

And I LOVE the woman in Clip #2 who literally shoves her daughter back out into the street to do the YMCA! That's a classic moment caught on video!

Thank you again for the pics and vids Sydney!
to be fair,Im sure both parks are dead right now as most people will probably wait a few days and come during the 50th,it would be kind of silly to go to the parks now as a paying guest.

as for the Block Party,it looks like alot of fun!! I cant wait to see it next weekend

Looks cheesey... but extremely fun. Now if only I can get to the resort this summer.

It looks like the bulk of characters are over at the Monster's Inc. side. Is my observation true?

Hippie--- THANK YOU-- I said the same thing and got shot down by parties who shall remain nameless...

And as far as crowds, you all saw the amount of people at the first show stop, right? that does not look like a single row of audience to me... the 2nd show stop was full as well-- by the time you got to the back of the park I think the crowds were a little thinner, but I think that's a good thing that the show is not hitting capacity now-- if it were able to hit capacity even when no one knew it was going to be there... I'd be worried. Remember, they only made P.A. announcements an hour and a half before hand.

Next week, you'll have to deal with everyone knowing when it's going to be in the Times guide, also you'll have some families parkhopping specifically to see it, etc etc... I think it's safe to say it will be BUSY.

As far as the concentration of people around the monsters float, that may be because I was sitting at the middle of the sun plaza (facing the sun icon) and that's exactly where the monsters scream factory stops. Its' SO large that it becomes the focal point for that part of the audience. Rest assured there is a huge amount of stuff happening over by Bugs and the Toys units...

Once i got to paradise pier and had already seen it once, I knew better than to just sit in the front row by monsters-- I stayed back and thanks to the somewhat lighter crowds back there and the less arched pathway, I was able to see a bit more of the show-- but i still basically got the back half-- from the monsters unit backwards (which is about half of the parade). Next time, I plan to try to watch the front half, with the Toy story unit.

The more I see and/or hear about this the more excited I get. I can't wait to see this parade. It looks so much better during the day. The music's a little odd but it gets people up and dancing which it is meant to do. One thing I'm still mad about is that they didn't use the great CM costumes shown in the concept art. Also how the concept showed more costumed characters and how they are a little more big and elaborate. But all in all BPB looks amazing.

I like the current Monsters Inc. one a lot more than one in concept. I think I like postion of old Bug Life float and like how the Toy Story had more floats and characters.
