The number on my wristband read 22,194 and my mom's was 22,195....so obviously they were keeping track. The people's wristbands near us were also in the 22,000's. I wouldn't doubt it since the line snaked back and forth so many times. And it wasn't really a single-file line at all. It was usually 3-4 people wide for the most part, sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller.

Btw, the Cast Members were great that day. I couldn't count how many people said "Good morning!" to me and asked me how I was doing. It was great!! It was such a special way to start the day!

As Syd said, the numbers on the wristbands did not correspond to the number in the park. (Tho i swear it was 10 colors wasnt it Syd)

Nope, Sharon Disney (Walt and Lillian's adopted daughter) died of cancer in 1993.

It was a very special treat having Diane there on Sunday. She did an excellent job. I think it would have been nice to let Ron Miller say a few words.

Great coverage as usual Michael. The best coverage on the net!

Thanks for clearing things up about the number of people! The people around us were just saying the same thing about there being 20,000 people in the park, so I was just going by the majority's voice. How typical.
