I say no only because there has been better story telling by Pixar in the past. Both the Brad Bird films in particular outdo Wall-E in my opinion.

Wall-E is very unique, but I don't think it was unique enough to be nominated for Best Picture. The overall story was pretty thin.

Don't get me wrong, Wall-E definitely should and will win Best Animated Picture for this year, but to move it to the Best Picture category seems a little too bold, especially with the underlying "save the earth" message it portrays.

I liked Wall-E, but it wasn't the best picture Pixar has made. I agree with Mort!

It has gotten very good reviews from even the hard core movie reviewers. But I immagin it will stay in the Animated catagory. Would be nice to see it win there!

No, there is no way it would ever win for Best Picture. Will it win for Best Animated Feature? Yes, hands down. But no not for Best Picture.

Does it? Yes. Will it? No.
Yes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)

A lot of movies that get nominated for best picture I don't like. A few times movies are nominated that I have never even heard of.

I said no because I did not see it. It seemed like it wasn't the best Pixar movie. Ratatouille and the Incredibles looked better.
