    Frankly it shouldnt have won best animated feature, but placed in the best feature category. but no, they had to create best animated feature category to put those "child movies" in their place. heaven forbid beauty and the beast gets nominated for best picture and wins- which it didnt but was nominated.

    Yes, "Up" should have won. Although, "Princess & The Frog" ( a wonderful story & fantastically illustrated) & "Coraline" (another gem by Tim Burton) were both worthy, "UP" was the better of the 3 IMO. I didn't see the others.

    ^ Coraline isn't a Tim Burton film. It was actually directed by "Henry Selick," who also directed Nightmare Before Christmas.
