I think if it wasn't for all meet and greets but some it would be ok. Last time I was at DLR we didn't wait very long for any of the characters we chose to see including Mickey at his house {at least I didn't think the line was that bad}. However we avoided the Princesses and Tink with the 45-60 minute waits so maybe for bigger meet and greets like that it would be a good idea. So I voted "undecided" for now haha.

It could go a couple of ways. I havent gotten to read up about this much but it depends on how it ties in with the existing FP system. It could cause FPs to be spread around among more things which could make using FPs for other things quicker. I think i would be all for it if I had a child who wanted to meet characters...

I put "other" because I think it probably is a good idea for the big "staged" meet and greets such as Mickey's House or the princesses where the wait can get ridiculous, but it would be terrible to see them all go that way and so effectively cordon the characters off from informal interactions.

So, yes, I do think the model being proposed at the Magic Kingdom is a good one, but it would also be great if these types of experiences were balanced out by a greater variety of characters being present around the park generally without the need for fastpasses, long queues, etc.
