YES YES YES YES!!!!! The tile murals were so unique for an amusement park and the Golden gate is so rep of California.......The "blue things" entrance is very similar to HS in Florida. The new entrance and stores will rep only one section of California. And you can't tell me that that area of Hollywood was the only part of California Walt Disney visited. I will get used to it, but I will miss the old/original entrance

Most definitely yes. While for myself, everything beyond the letters and tile mural could be replaced and updated, the entrance itself is what I'll miss, just because it was so unique to the other parks. The California letters to me projected a sense of grandness while the current entrance is much more understated in my opinion.

Yes, I will most definitely miss the old entrance, but I do look forward to the new entrance as well.

My husband & I liked sitting on or laying against the letters to watch the fireworks. I know Disneyland/California Adventures is always updating, but I'll still miss the letters.

Totally agree...I'll really miss the letters. It seemed like everyone enjoyed posing and takings pictures with them. I also loved the mural - it was unique and beautiful.
