    Re: Imagineer Salary and etc.

$25,000 annually only? Is this true? Then why does WDI only accpet a few imagineers yearly? Imagineers are responsible for creating the rides and attractions that bring in people. Thus, they are responsible for creating most profit of the Disney Company.

If imagineers only make $25,000 a year, then why do many people want to join?

A reminder to all....please remember not to use profanity or masked profanity on the baords, it is needlessly antagonzing.

As far as the question of this thread, it seems to have been answered as clearly as anybody here can.

Imagineers range from people who answer the phones to the president, and all levels in between. The salaries that people at WDI make reflect this range and I've heard they go anywhere from hourly wages up in to six figure salaries.

If you are expecting Tony Baxter to post scans of his 2003 W2, you are wasting your time.

Uh...because it's not about the money? And because if your'e pursuing any kind of artistic/creative job because of the money, you are doing it, in my opinion, for the wrong reason? Because of the prestige of the Disney company, or the prestige it used to have?

Um... first, WDI is a basically its own company (a in-house company of Disney). How many people does the average company hire annually?

The Parks do not generate the most profit of the company.

I'm sure Disney has to pay competitive saleries. So, if you want to go there to be a mechanical engineer, check the salery range of a mechanical engineer. It you want to go there to be a graphic artist, check the salery of a graphic artist. If you want to know what they pay construction workers, check the salery range of construction.
