Totally agree. She looks great and 100 times better than the princess in Shrek. I can't even remember her name!

Enough with the talking. They need to hurry up the sell!

But, even if they wanted to just use the 3B, then they would be a 50% owner of Pixar.

Disney has a bunch of cash to play around with right now, even enough that they are planning a stock buy-back this year to increse share value. But, if they use a stock swap to get Pixar, this would utilize some of the stock they had thought about buying back, and put it to another use.

If I wanted, I could go into some in-depth analysis like WrongWay, but I'd give myself a headache if I did, so lets leave it at:

    Radio Sale = Cash
    Cash = Purchase
Purchase = 50% or more of Pixar
dont forget PIxar is also sitting on a pile of cash as well, in the billion dollar range, so even with the purchase they will get some cash out right away.

sorry didnt read your next post in time...

DrudgeReport has the following posted on thier main page:

"Disney could announce Tuesday the acquisition of Pixar in stock transaction valued at about $7 billion"

as much as I dont agree with Matt Drudge's politics,he usually gets these types of stories first (dont know how he does it),its lookin like Disney will snatch Pixar up very soon.

UPDATE 1-Will great big Disney destroy little Pixar?

LOS ANGELES, Jan 23 (Reuters) - A key to the success of a possible takeover of Pixar Animation Studios Inc (PIXR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) by Walt Disney Co (DIS.N: Quote, Profile, Research) is whether the entertainment giant can nurture the freewheeling culture that led Pixar to a string of box office successes.

Pixar is known for its egalitarian ways where the lowest-ranking animator can share ideas with the bosses while Disney has a reputation for making creative decisions from the top down.

Avoiding the time-driven demands in favor of creative excellence is a key differentiator of Pixar versus all other studios," Goldman Sachs analyst Anthony Noto said in a note to clients. "Moving to two films a year and the corporate demands of a large company could destroy the culture of Pixar."

    DISNEYFIED

Pixar's headquarters in Emeryville, California, was described by the San Francisco Chronicle as "a prepubescent's paradise of foosball and pool tables, movie posters and cafeteria workers serving fun food" where Pixar animators delight in "showing their bosses better ways of doing things."
"Dealing with middle management, departments and studio heads -- we have none of that," Andrew Stanton, director of "Finding Nemo," told the Chronicle in 2003. "That's the thing that makes this place incredibly unique.

Meh, I really think it's VERY possible now that Disney is likely to retake Pixar when the current old deal expires right after the release of their new Feature Film scheduled to be released this summer, Cars.
Basically just about all of the Analysts who are involved with this news, are pretty much confident that the re-buy event will happen. I'll be glad if it does. I like Pixar very much as well. Their cina's are great and excellently worked on being produced if not all. But if Disney does re-take them, this shall set the stage for hopefully sequel productions of their older current Feature Films currently existing in Pixar. And as far as I have researched on this, if re-buy happens, planning on Toy Story 3 would likely be underway soon after.
