Exclamation Whats going on at Hollywood Pictures Backlot?

In Disney's California Adventure in the land Hollywood Pictures Backlot I believe we have had the most closures and openings of rides and restaurants at DCA.
When DCA first opened It had
    Hollywood and Dine
    Superstar Limo
    Lights, Camera, Chaos!
    ABC Soaplink
    Goofy's Beach Party Bash
    WWTBAM
    Fairfax Market

But since then all these rides, shows, a restaurants have been closed down.
Most of them have been replaced ABC Soaplink= Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage!. Superstar Limo=Monsters, Inc.: Mike and Sulley to the Rescue.

But for Millionaire, fine and Dine we still See no improvement being made on this buildings.
First off why close if you do not plan to replace them in the next year.

I think both buildings could be used for new ride like a narnia, and th other as the great movie ride.

Narnias ride could have queue with the props from the movie and then you f on a Vehicle and travel through this new world and help save it from the White Witch.

Great Movie ride does not have to be a clone it could show us new scenes from newer movies and maybe have a theme to the ride, because i know a lot of you dislike the one at MGM because it has no real story line.

But I just wish they fill in theses two building's its sinks to have to see two giant building's doing nothing but collect dust.

But thats just what I think what do you think?

I think they will fix the entrance next. You'll have to wait on the next change to Hollywood.

Disney does this quite often. WHY? Could be hundreds of reasons, but mostly due to budgets. Closures without replacements are the thorn in every Disney fans' side. I have a feeling something will pop up in the Millionaire building at some point. As for Hollywood & Dine, Marcie said a while ago that nothing is planned for that building in the forseeable future. BUT, that was before the PIXAR buyout...we all just have to wait & see.

I don't think Hollywood and Dine will ever open as anything to the general public. It is the Festival Arena of DCA where they hold private parties. The location could't have been planned better. It's an ideal spot to throw private parties with proximity to major attractions in the park. Disney makes tons of money from these, they are certainly more profitable than anything else they could put there and it provides capital for the parks. H&D should stay as it is, no development needed there, IMO. It's absolutely perfect for it's unintended use.

Millionaire definetly needs something though... a ride would be neat... HOUSE OF MOUSE! HOUSE OF MOUSE! Not gonna happen but maybe when they redo the Millionaire building they can fix the terrible Backlot Stage area. That probably won't be for a very long time down the road though.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

I always thought a house of mouse could go to Toontown, but I would think it would be cool to change Muppet's 3D into a Muppet's dark ride, theirs enough room for it, the queue for Muppet's is giant in my opinion, I mean so is bug life 3D, were they really excepting that many people?

There's no room for House of Mouse in Toon Town unless it's built where Gadget's/Chip n Dale treehouse is but it wouldn't make sense thematically since it's supposed to be a residential part of Toon Town. It would have to go near Roger Rabbit but there's no room there for anything.

Heard a rumor D-MGM's Millionaire is closing and WDI is looking into if the Incredibles robo-coaster ride is the way to go in that building...

Hmm... that sounds like a conflation with OUR rumor. Can't WDW even make up their own rumors?
