Yeah, but its soundtrack changed over the years, and it really doesn't have anything to contribute to the show that would be instantly recognizable.Originally Posted by JerrodDragon
I was surprised that the show didn't have anything to do with "it's a small world" in it. That's probably one of the most recognizable Disney songs ever.

Most of the people I have come in contact with don't even know what the PeopleMover was, let alone any music that went with it. The PeopleMover was one of those rides that never really left much of a mark on people's minds, not the same kind of lasting mark left by attractions like Space, Splash, Big Thunder, Small World, Pirates, Mansion, etc. I get the notion that in the common Disney visitor the PeopleMover was easily forgettable and has already been, for the most part, forgotten.

Hey, I remember the People Mover! When I was young, I thought it was awesome!
...But now that Im older, I think its sorta slow and lame. The only cool thing about that ride was that you got to sit down and see Tomorrowland. Everything else was uh...lame. (And whoever said the whole 3 seconds TRON section, you get a cookie, because its so true and funny).
Anyways, conclusion: Nobody really remembers or cares about the People Mover except Jerrod. Id much rather have The Rocket Rods return before the People Mover.
Now, whats this fireworks show all about?

04-12-2006 01:22 AM #44Yes it has, and yes Small World is huge and I mean everybody knows the song. Thats why I dislike the whole 2 lands in one song thing. I think they could have had a 2 min to Critter country 3 min to Fantasyland and 2 Min's to Toontown inside of 6 Min's of a mixture of the 3.

But why would they seprate the three lands, they all have the same basic, theme?(I'm not sure if that is the right word) and the pop goes the weasel is not even from any of those lands, it's from America Sings from Tomorrowland.

Because it was silly and it fit. Sometimes it just comes down to that.
