    The Future of HKDL

If I was in charge of HKDL and Imagineering, I would do the following things to HKDL, and I would do them fast. (Most of these are things that are rumored to be added, so that means that should have probably been added in the first place.)

    Main Street, USA

-Something in the Opera House to replace the making of HKDL that would be unique to the park. ('07)

-Main Street Electrical Parade or Other Night Time Entertainment (Summer '07)

Adventureland (Plenty of Space so Exact Locations are Not Specified)

    -Train Station (Winter '06)

    -Adventureland Shooting Arcade (Spring '07)

    -Raging Spirits (Summer '07)

-Haunted Mansion (*New Story Line Detailed Below-Summer '08)

-Pirates of the Carribean-(DL-Paris Version w/Blue Lagoon Not With Splash Mountain Elements-Summer '09)

    Fantasyland

-New Fantasy Gardens Character Meet and Greet (Move Gazeebos To the other side of the Train Tracks between Golden Mickey Theater and Autopia w/ access near Golden Mickey's-Spring '07)

-Snow White's Scary Adventure (Attached to Castle in Current Festival of Foods Space-Summer '07)

-Peter Pan's Flight (New Building between Fantasyland Train Station and Jungle River Cruise w/New Festival of Foods Location connected-Summer '08)

-it's a small world (New Building In current location of Fantasy Gardens behind Tea Cups w/ Train going through Facade-Summer '08)

    Tomorrowland

    -Train Station (Winter '06)

    -Starcade Arcade (Haven't Decided on Location-Summer '07)

-Star Tours (New Flight Movie-Possibly Pod Racers from Episode I-Located Near Autopia-Summer '09)

    *Haunted Mansion Storyline

The British Government opened exotic tours of the jungle (Tie into Jungle River Cruise), but tourists soon began to die from the Jungle Fever. Parlaiment built a tudor style house to house Professor Peter Law and his young family. Law is supposed to find a cure to the Jungle Fever and he soon begins to do many experiments. The natives become angry because they think that Law is disrespecting their Gods and nature. The Natives get together have a meeting where the Voo Doo Witch Doctor puts a curse on the professor. The curse does not work, and the professor continues his experiments that the natives feel disrespect their gods. One day when the professor goes out into the jungle, the natives raided his home killing his wife and children on his son's birthday. When the professor comes home and finds his dead family, he goes up to the attic and hangs himself from the rafters (No Windows, No Doors-Try My Way Out in Stretching Rooms). After the professor killed himself, the house sat vacant as the jungle overtook the exterior of it. The young family continues to haunt the inside along with 995 ghosts that have come from all over the world. (The Ballroom scene would be rethemed to the son's birthday party, and you would be able to go through the mad scientist's laboratory.) I'll think of more scenes later, but this is the base story.

This is what I would do if I was in charge of HKDL. I think I would also add a Value Resort in the next two years. Hopefully with these additions to Disneyland Park, a second gate could open on reclaimed land by 2010, and Disneyland would be able to compete.

I Have decided not to add Splash Mountain because I don't think it fits into the park's themed lands, and I do not like the idea of making Pirates into a flume ride.

After a second gate is opened, Mickey's Toontown could be added to Disneyland Park, but I truly feel that these additions would make HKDL park feel more complete.

Let Me Know Your Ideas and What You Think of Mine! Bless You If You Have Read all Of this!

    Cheers!
Your dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway. -Walt Disney

I think Expedition Everest would make a great addition to Adventureland. It would make up for the park's lack of other iconic outdoor mountain roller-coasters (such as BTMR and The Matterhorn) plus it would celebrate a part of China, in the same way BTMR celbrates America in the US parks.
