About time they do this...now only if WDW would hop on board and spend the capital dollars.

I don't see why they can't just keep it at DLR...it was something original that made a lot of people come see it during the holiday season.

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday in Tokyo

Disney had been pushing for Nightmare to be done in Tokyo ever since the first Haunted Holiday happened in Anaheim. However, OLC held off until DLR had two successful runs. Same thing for the "small world" makeover. My take is that the NBC event will be successful.

Chances that it will be better as far as artistic detail goes? I'd say pretty high, but I seem to be developing high standards now when TDR is involved. I wonder why.

HMH is the best holiday overlay ever.If tdl wants to get in on it that's cool.I like it so much I go once a week during it's run.

Well, it's still going to be at the DLR. TDL is getting it's own version, and not taking DL's away from them. So, now there will be two versions going on at the same time.

oh darn. If that was the case i might have pushed last year's trip to TDR to this year to enjoy the japanese version of Nightmare Before Christmas @Haunted Mansion!

Aw. Nevermind, if its a success (95% chance it will be), it'll return, right?

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday in Tokyo

I have only seen the DL version on video and I thought it rocked! However, so help me God, i shall be there in person on Sept 15th when they unveil TDL's version. I am however cautious since TDL's IASW holiday show wasn't as good as DL's or DLP's.
