Well it's a no brainer that Disney needs to build like 5 E-Ticket attractions at DCA, but are they doing it? No...It's also a no brainer that Disney needs to badly fix up Tomorrowland at DL (anaheim), but are they doing it? No...sorry, your little theory doesn't work.

Not to get you ticked off Goldenstate8 (cause you're a cool person), but I am not a TDS lover. I happen to love Disney, but I am loosing my respect and love for the American parks because all they do is nothing. NOTHING! How many years has PotS been running? What kindof crap is Mickey's Detective School? What happened to Tomorrowland? How about IllumiNations? What about the same stuff over and over and no new rides. That's so much crap. cheap off-the shelf rides are everywhere. I know TDS has them and they are wonderful, I know FFF has them, and they are good in FFF too, but TDS does them better because they are indoors, and do a lot more than one rotation or whatever they do, they even have an aerobatics show in there, tell me if FFF has that? HUH?! And I completely disregard Magic Carpets of Aladdin until I see some tangible evidence, which I fail to see produced in this thread. Maybe it'll be a reality some day, but unlike Florida's version, it'll probably be done right and not half-a**ed. Sorry for my rant there, but it ticks me off when people make inconsiderate comments like that. - The WeirdOneOriginally posted by goldenstate8
Yeah, but what puzzles TDS-lovers is that they think "cheap off-the shelf rides" and "Toyko DisneySea" don't mix, which until now, was true...

I don't agree with that statement. We TDS lovers have always been awared of the fact that Mermaid lagoon is as cheap a carnival area as, say, Paradise Pier or Chester & Hester side carnival in DAK. However, what we won't accept is how cheaply the theming is at those two locations when compared to TDS' excellent theming, and that's why we have accepted the Mermaid area because the theming more than makes up for the off the shelve rides. Frankly, the last thing i want to see at TDS is yet another spinner a la Scuttle's Scooters, and if we want to address the "off-the-shelve", let's talk about TOT, probably the most glorified off the shelve ride at a Disney park ever. It's another ride i would hate to see being installed at TDS, but if they manage to integrated it into TDS without sacrifing the theming of American harbour, then so be it.Originally posted by goldenstate8

if we want to address the "off-the-shelve", let's talk about TOT, probably the most glorified off the shelve ride at a Disney park ever."It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you -- that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why."
"And they call it a film.....A FILM?!?"
