TDR Status of Structures and Facilities
Current Status of Structures and Facilities at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea
Neither Tokyo Disneyland nor Tokyo DisneySea experienced major damage from the recent earthquakes. Some pathways inside the Parks had cracks that have since been repaired. However, they did not affect safety in the Parks. It would be possible to open the Parks in their current condition. A section of the parking lot was subjected to soil liquefaction. Gravel has been used to repair these areas and they are now suitable for use.
Other Resort facilities, such as Disney-brand hotels, Ikspiari, Cirque du Soleil Theatre Tokyo and Disney Resort Line experienced no major damage (Ikspiari opened for business on March 28th).

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."
Disneyland. My Anti-drug.

Thanks for the update. It is nice to hear the parks are fine even though it does not seem likely they will open anytime soon.

Thanks guys for the supportive comments. My family and I are perfectly fine compared to the people of northeastern Japan. Although there are still multiple strong aftershocks and the risk from the Fukushima power plants, we try to live on as normally as possible day by day.
I'll keep the folks here updated on the goings on at TDR. Still waiting for definitive word on the re-opening date for both Parks.JoeInJpn

For those interested, it looks like the OLC published an official document detailing what exactly was damaged, if anything, at the resort.
http://www.olc.co.jp/wpmu/wp-content...110328_01e.pdf
Looks like the only things worth mentioning is minor damage that occurred to the Big Thunder rock-work (now being repaired), and a speaker tower in Mediterranean Harbor that collapsed. Other than that everything else is in working order, including the parking lot that previously had liquefaction occur.
Hope the parks can reopen soon!LIKE us at Facebook.com/MouseInfo

Tokyo DisneySea will reopen April 28, and will present the premiere of Fantasmic! on that evening. Tokyo Disneyland will also resume nighttime operations, bringing back Dreamlights until its scheduled refurb beginning May 9.

Wow, doesn't that seem a little soon for the Fantasmic! premiere? Or has Steve Davison been in Japan longer than I thought?
Also, Tokyo Disneyland specifically resumes nighttime operations on April 23rd, a week earlier than Tokyo DisneySea reopens.LIKE us at Facebook.com/MouseInfo
