Fantasmic or Sorcery In The Sky MGM

Ok simple...in your opinion would it be worth it to take out Fantasmic and the giant hat to bring back Sorcery in the Sky? In my opinion DEFENANTLY! Sorcery was my fav. Disney firework show and still is. Then they had to add the dumb hat there and only run it two nights a year thanks to that lil scaled-down show called Fantasmic. Yes many love Fantasmic but I would be in heaven to see it removed and the hat torn out to bring back Fantasmic. Even better...how about both? If DisneyLand park can do it with Believe and a better Fantasmic why can't we just change times for each?

so.....vote. Kill the hat with or without Fantasmic though. heh Oh and I know none of these will prob. ever happen but oh boy do I wish.

I only saw the 4th of July Video and pics but does anyone have a video or pics of the regular one?

It's pretty much the same. Just imagine everything going back to normal after the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Oh...and imagine a giant mickey on top of the theator shooting sparks out of his finger during the Fantasia music. And as of now there is NO normal Sorcery. Only the New Years and 4th of July versions which are great...but we still need the original.

What about an option not available? Leave Fantasmic, and return Sorcery!

After all, Disneyland gets both certian nights, and rember back to 1996 and prior? Disneyland had three nighttime shows, when you add the Main Street Electrical Parade!

I was very excited to see Fantasmic added to Disney MGM, but disapointed when I learned that meant we lost Sorcery.

While I'd never say the WDW Fantasmic is better then the DL version, it's still a Fantastic show. I prefer it over Sorcery, just wish it didn't have to mean the end of Sorcery (well except for two nights a year).

Well I do understand Disney MGM, does not get the numbers that Disneyland does, but it still is the 4th highest attended park in the US, so I think at least during peak season, they could justify doing both.

So my vote is for OTHER.

I agree that other would be the best. But this pole was also partly to see what people liked the most. Yes both would be better with NO hat. But everyone would vote for that.

Fantasmic was a big let down for me though. DL would defenantly be the same too. I just don't get much out of seeing a mouse fight off a dragon and then seeing characters on boats. I perfer giant fireworks and music.

I agree it's a letdown, when you compare it to the DL version, but think about how many WDW visitors have never been to Disneyland.

Think about what they think of it! They are not comparing it to another version, they are simply enjoying a fantastic show! THere are plenty of fireworks, music and similar elements in the WDW version.

Having seen both versions of Fantasmic, no argument that DL's is better, but WDW's is still an improvment over Sorcery!

So if I had to choose one over the ohter, I'd vote for Fantasmic.

I mean I don't enjoy any Fantasmic nearly as much as Sorcery. I know it's worth having one but over Sorcery I still perfer Sorcery. I guess I am kinda alone on that opinion though. Oh well

I think that Socery is a great fireworks show that has a very imprssive sorcery mickey baloon with sparks out of his finger. Even though Sorcery is great Fantasmic is and excellent addition to the park. The show has a sense of true Disney magic. If I has the choice I would put Sorcery in the Sky remixed and out a more version more like Disneyland on the Rivers of America. Animal Kingdom should make some kind of show that involves the animals of the world going to The Tree of Life in unision. Think The Lion King on Broadway for Animal Kingdom, as a nighttime show.

The WDW Fantasmic is lame compared to DL's-no pirate ship scene, no Mark Twain(that whimpy little steamboat), and most importantly, not on ROA in Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom.

Believe me, the overall experience in DL is soooo much better, and it isn't just about the show itself.

If they were going to have a nighttime show , i doubt there would be no fireworks. Thats a hazard to the animals, since some animals are ear sensitive and the sound of fireworks can kill them , get them deaf, or scared and stuff which would not make AZA happy
