From screamscape.com :
Fall/Winter 2004 - Fantasmic Rehab - Rumor - (4/16/04) I’ve been attempting to chase down this rumor for several weeks and while it is still just a rumor at this point, I feel good enough about it to bring it to light. This will be happy news to anyone who is a fan of the Disneyland show over the Florida version because Pocahontas may finally be removed from the show and rightfully replaced with a similar Peter Pan act as seen at Disneyland. To do this, the show will have to add Hook’s ship to the mix sometime during a rehab.
I personally don't want to see it. The Pocahontas segment keeps it different from DL's show version. But on the other hand, I perfer Peter Pan than Pocahontas. What do you guys think?

Re: WDW's Fantasmic Show Rehab Rumor!!
The Pocahaunts scene is fine with me, they need to get rid of the dang bubble mist screen part. So long and so boring. Also, they need a better Mark Twain.

Bubble mist screen part?
i agree with the mark twain. DL's mark twain is so much more detailed than WDW's. Probably WDW's was only built for the show. nothing else. so bland.*NEW*-Ideas to IMPROVE Mickey's Toontown: http://www.mouseinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78589

On the big mist/water-fans, they project this segment everyone calls the "Bubble segment" because it literally contains EVERY Disney character known to man inside of bubbles floating up and it seems to go on forever.
Nothing else happens, just the bubbles on the screens for several minutes... Even people who love the show admit that part is a bit blatant and stupid.

But the reason it's done is because it takes an enormous amount of time to switch between the Lion King Black light puppets and the Pocahontus Stunt show.

^ that's what i thought they were. i call it the water/mist screens. DL's mist screen time is alot shorter than WDW's mist screen time, for sure. I saw both versions. WDW's had a lot of clips to show. Got a little boring. I didn't know how boring it was until I saw WDW's. I've seen DL's version many times.

I don't think the peter pan segment would come off as well in florida, as you're so far away from the action. the peter pan works so well because the ship comes by so closely, and you can spot all the characters. pocahontas works well in FL, they have the whole stunt setup to do it, they should keep it.

Re: WDW's Fantasmic Show Rehab Rumor!!
Well, the thing is, WDW's "Twain" is really suppose to be the Steamboat Willie boat. I do have to admit that the size and how close the Twain gets compared to WDW's version appears to be more spectacular, but I won't know since I have yet to see either versions.

The Twain and Pocahontas thing are crap, but the Mark Twain wouldn't work there because our's is an attraction that you can ride, there's is Steamboat Willie. Like someone said before me the Peter Pan thing is also so cool because you can ride the ship during the day, and it comes very close.
