    the old Discovery Island boats

    so what happened to DAK's boats? when i went there around 2002, they didn't run the boats. i saw videos of the boats running and seeing Aladar in the river. did they stop it because not enough people to ride? where's Aladar? i bring this up because i just read somewhere they are using the boats to carry costumed characters and a live band to float around in the river.

    The boats were boring, slow and slow loading. After people figured out that it was only a short trip that was walked much faster and there was nothing interesting on the way, they got mad. So they tried to retheme it with Radio Disney, that didn't pan out well and now they're history.
