I heard the Tiki room is different in Magic Kingdom something about Zazu? If this is true, does anyone have pics or videos?

the tiki room at WDW is not nearly as good as at DL, it has Iago (with singing by Gilford Gaudefiried!) pretty much talking smack the whole show, really annoying and unsatisfying.

Not really. Iago just talks smack for the first half of the show. Then he gets what he deserves from Uhoa, the tiki goddess of disaster. Very gimmiky, really. On top of that, they make referances to the original show which I doubt the average WDW guest would get unless they did their research or are fans like us.

The best line in the show is at the very end: "Hey lady, it wouldn't hurt you to walk a little faster!" So cruel, yet so random.
A good thing did come out of the show: Attraction of the Week, an old column on the rec.arts.disney.parks about Disney rides.

They ought to dump the current WDW Tki Room show & bring back the original. Oh & while their @ it, duplicate the soundtrack so DL can get the FULL show again.

The Tiki Room at WDW is a complete disgrace to human and bird alike. Gilbert Gottfried should not be allowed to speak...

Well, I enjoyed it, but it is sort of a one-trick pony. The premise is that it is under new management. It has now been under new management for years!
I think this is the one show left that can be upgraded in technology in both parks. Why should we get stuck watching the same show every time? Create programs of the birds singing lots of songs, and then make each viewing something new each time. We have the technology. We can build it better than before....
I also like the Christmas idea that has been floating around: MeleKaliki Tiki Room. Why not holiday up this place too? If we end up losing Haunted Mansion Holiday, it would be great to have another holiday offering.

Or bring TDL's Get the Fever show to WDW... close enough to the original but with some spunk and a hot hot "Fever" cover.

The only good thing about WDW's Tiki Room is that Phil Hartman voices one of the preshow birds.
