    Living Seas mural - Reworked?

    So.. I went to WDW today.. Lots of new stuff, work on Spaceship Earth and other areas.. Link to my full writeup: http://www.touringplans.com/tp2/UG2_index.php?PageID=44 (lots of pics!)

    Anywho.. my main concern is the work being done at the Living Seas:



    The placement of the plywood seems to show they are trying to preserve it (lets hope it doesn't end up Mary Blair's tomorrowland works) but they also spray painted boxes/squares on it.

    They form this pattern (red lines for emphasis/clarity):



    What do you suppose is up? New additions? Reworkings? I'm a little concerned but hope some experts here might be able to shed some light....

    Maybe they are putting cutouts or something on those squares.
