FYI... WDW just announced yet another celebration to keep the momentum of the happiest celebration event going thru their 35th anniversary, which will be on Oct 1st, 2006.
The new celebration is called "Year of Million Dreams". They purpose of the celebration is to surprise guests with un-imaginable experiences during their visit to WDW, beginning on Oct 1st. Some of the 'surprises' guest will enjoy include sleepovers in Cinderella Castle's royal chambers (hmmm...), Golden Fastpass tickets that will allow guests to ride FP rides all day long using the FP line, invitiations to gala parties (I wonder where...) and even their personal pirate host during a trip thru POTC.... just to name a few of the planned ideas for this event.
You can read more about it in the Orlando Sentinel.com page...

Just a little late. This was the 'big' announcement yesterday. The celebration will be at DLR too.

So...anybody have more info on this....
(from the Year Of A Million Dreams announcement)
The Laugh Floor Comedy Club at Magic Kingdom – Guests find the power of laughter in an engaging and interactive new adventure inspired by Disney-Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.” as they match wits with the one-eyed hero Mike Waznowski and his friends. (Early 2007)
Ride? Show? What the Heck? They also call it an "adventure" not an "attraction".

It's the attraction replacing Timekeeper.
My understanding is that guests will enter the theatre, sit down, and watch a cabaret-type show with an interactive Mike Waznowski, using technology similar to Turtle Talk with Crush.

^yeah, the rumors were it would be located in TL, which is even more of a head-scratcher. I was hoping for a dark ride similar to what DCA & TDL were/are getting. Hmmmm...............
