I think it's spelled weenie, but it doesn't matter.Originally Posted by Iframedroger R

Why is a giant Mickey hat at the end of 1930's Hollywood Blvd? It's unfortunate because the Chinese Theater is so famous and a recognizable symbol of the glitz and glamor of old Hollywood.

The wand doesn't look all that bad in pictures I suppose, but in person it is just the height of tacky. It doesn't do anything for Epcot and is totally out of place. The font is disgusting, and as anti-Epcot as a font could get.
I have yet to see the hat in person. I don't really think the hat is necessarily a bad idea, but I don't think it belongs in front of the Chinese Theatre.Jaleel White does not approve.

You know, it might've been a cool entrance to the Fantasmic Stadium.

I agree with the above posters, the hat should be moved either to the entrance of Fantasmic or somewhere on Mickey Ave. As for the gigantic Mickey wand, the Millenium Celebration was six years ago. Rather than taking it down like it should have been, the "2000" was replaced by the tacky "Epcot". I think it is time to say goodbye to this one.
