The coral is the reef scenes - the introduction, the field trip, and "where's Nemo?" which is essentially the premise. There are more scenes before you reach the tank, amoung them the angler fish and the jellyfish forest.
The tank itself has 3 distinct portions physically for the ride. The first part is an acrylic tunnel that is under 2 stories of water and travels the radius of the tank to the center underneath the main observation deck. The second is a curve around under the observation deck, where it can be seen that some of the screens/projectors are located. Then final portion is the return underneath the second floor walkway of the observation deck. If these are 3 seperate scenes or just lumped together as the finale is unknown.

Laughingplace.com said the soft opening was supposed to start yesterday, but got delayed until Monday.
I have no idea. I was just going off what I read.

The kuka arm is a pretty astonishing peice of machinery... One has sat in Glendale for sometime...
For those interested in the arm itself, here is kuka's website.

Thanks for that, but I'm still a little confused. I've heard this "Kuka arm" term mentioned a few times, but I'm not sure what purpose it would have in a ride as part of the show. Unless you were building a Honda or something, what would you do with a robotic arm in a show scene?
