    Wonders of Life to REOPEN!

In what could best be described as a snowball somehow surviving in h-e-double hockey sticks chance of happening...

The Wonders of Life pavilion at Epcot is scheduled to reopened and admit guests 11/26/06-01/01/07.

They are currently seeking CMs to cross train on the attractions and working out the scheduling.

So, come and visit, and do as the sign outfront proudly proclaims: Celebrate the joy of Life!

    My questions are...

    A) What will be closing during that time that merits WOL to be "re"opened??
    B) Is this re-opening a temporary operation during the upcoming holidays???
    then close again??

    A) The immediate train of thought for that one is Energy. The two in the past shared CMs for years, and still do. The CMs at Energy essentially some of the few who still know how to operate Body Wars (short of pulling people from Star Tours which isn't exactly the same). However, nothing has been mentioned of an Energy closing. Maybe Epcot really is that busy? Wait times this months were Test Track 50, Soarin 70, M:S 40, and everything else atleast 10-20, with the usual "walk-ons" but that's not saying much for Epcot's theaters and El Rio.

    B) Current calendar only lists it open until the New Year, so it does appear to be a seasonal opening. Also, take a look at Epcot's hours in December - or even Spring Break next year... perhaps the park is much busier.

Don't worry, I really like it too!

Wonders of Life is ok, but I wouldn't worry too much about not having seen it. Body Wars is ok, but more a poor man's Star Tours than anything. Cranium Command is ok but dated and I can't remember anything else except a few interactive things. I'm not sure why they just close rather than update this one, but maybe they think it would be better spending the money on a more marketable concept than health and fitness!
