Same goes for Tokyo DisneySea which has a large variety of E-ticket shows; including Broadway performances to productions reminiscent of the Cirque du Soleil. And yes, even large scale character shows like Over the Waves and Legend of Mythica. And then, there is an elegant nighttime lagoon show on par with IllumiNations or Fantasmic (in my opinion)!

I'm glad you said "in my opinion"!

Furthermore, if the heads are the general make up of those used in Narnia, wouldn't the performers be able to at least dance like they did before? The Minitor head that they feature on the BTS Features clearly shows that you can still move your body just as fluidly and just as fast. Granted they are professional puppetteers, but still. Unless they are housing a car battery in each of their skulls (which I doubt given the amount of space in some of the smaller heads like Goofy's and Donalds), the addition of servos and moters can't weight that much. A few extra pounds, yes, but not enough to hinder the actor's performance.
ookk, um, I wasn't actually trying to answer your question about how they see out, I was just addressing the comment you made about the body language. Honestly, I can't answer as to how they see out.
I personally think that it is not too much different than before though.

I don't know if the heads and the technology used are the same as to what they used in the Narnia film. Maybe this tech is a bit different, so range of motion is different. It could also be to the fact that they have only been using it in the show for just a few day so far, plus rehearsals, so they could still very well be getting used to it. I do agree the Japanese performers go all out with their character performances, but I don't think the ones in this show at WDW are doing a bad job. Plus, with the fact that the characters are now articulated, it's possible all the bopping up and done with the head isn't necessary so much, anymore.

I knew I was probably in the minority so I didn't want to offend anyone. It's just my taste I guess. I prefer the relaxing atmosphere and grand spectacle that is BraviSEAmo over the action-filled atmosphere of Fantasmic or IllumiNations. All 3 are my favorite shows at their respective resorts and there's really nothing defining which is better; it's all based on preference.

Did you read post 29? Based on what's been posted since I'd say that's right.

Well what's the definition of a puppet? An in-animate object, likely anthropomorphic, controlled by a person. Just because there isn't a person with an arm up Mickey's butt, doesn't mean it's not puppetry.
