Actually, Disney has been denying people with Yellow, Square Heads work for years.....it's nice to see Disney finally letting go of some outdated customs.
Now if they'd only hire Santa Monica....

Mission Space is definately an even better thrill ride then Test Track (and I do like Test Track)
I never saw Horizons, so I guess I'm not emotinaly drained by this replacement the way I am sometimes when old attractions close.
I do wonder how the average guest will react to the ride, but it didn't bother me at all. (Then again X at Magic Mountain does not bother me though)
I just wonder if FutureWorld will finally stay open officialy past 6PM, once the attraction opens. It's defiantly what Epcot needed, and there's much talk already about what's coming next for Epcot, after Mission Space opens.Darren

Re: New Mission: Space Reviews and Pics!
I kind of liked the idea that Future World closed before the rest of Epcot. If you are like me and want to get the most out of the park in one day, closing Future World is really a blessing because it put you into the World Showcase so you don't miss IllumiNation.

Re: New Mission: Space Reviews and Pics!
I agree but it's kind of backfiring. 3 hours is to long to kill at World Showcase, for the average guest looking for a ride.

Closing half the park 3 hours early is never the smartest solution. Not opening World Showcase until 11AM I can see, that part works well, and lets them save some money.Darren

Re: New Mission: Space Reviews and Pics!
True, but I'd say to those guests (if I was any kind of tour guide or something like that) that Epcot isn't about rides, but about experiances and try to encourage them to spend those three hours at each of the pavilions. If they are stubburn about trying to find rides, then, yeah, go down the way to MGM and wait in line for TOT for an hour, then for RNR for another hour, then come back to Epcot to reserve your spot.

Re: New Mission: Space Reviews and Pics!
I agree in theory, but your average guest is not going to get analytical on you. World showcase opens at 11AM, many have already experianced those pavillions long before 6PM when Future World closes.

However the average guest has done these attractions long before 6PM when Futureworld closes. The problem arises at 6PM when they have three hours to kill before Illuminations. It's not even dark till around 8:45 this time of year, so nobody is in dinner mode at 6PM, quite yet, and dinner is World Showcases' speciatly for killing an hour or so.
Now in Futureworld Imagaination and Test Track remain open, as well as Spaceship Earth, but Test Track is about the only repeat attraction in Futureworld for now.
While it's true you can park hop to MGM and still come back for Illuminations, your average guest that leaves Epcot in the 6PM - 7PM range to go to Disney MGM, will stay there for Fantasmic, and not return to Epcot.
They need to fix this problem, I can't beleive they close Futureworld so early. I hope Mission Space fixes this problem.Darren
