Hey KNRG, I'm going to be in WDW from May 16th-18th. I'm guessing I won't be able to ride on the 16th, but is there a high probability of soft openings on the 17th and 18th?......

Very likely, they tend to run them as much as possible. Not like there's nothing back there - so check it out on your way to the stunt show, backlot tour, and one man's dream.

Mania Spud at DHS
They released publicity photos of the DHS Potato being programmed.

While we've seen him before, we do finally see the inside of DHS queue. The "Try Me" button is a nice touch. He will apparently be presented as a new toy in the box, which is different from his setting at DCA.

Cool!
Do we have any idea yet how they attraction is being presented overall at DHS? As in, how do midway games featuring Toy Story characters tie in to the 'Pixar Studios' land?

Well, the color scheme is definitely different - orange and deep rusty red. I know the facade is a pixar-studio brick style building and you enter into the large glass front through an opening at the bottom that has a sign overhead. Other then that, no one really knows.

Hmm, I'll be really interested to see how they do it. It has such a natural home in DCA that it needs very little setting up but, having seen the pics of the new Pixar Studios area, I'd imagine there will have to be some explanation of what it is and why it's there in the queue area.

He looks like a brand new Toy at DCA too, the whole queue area is the Midway Playset and Potato's pedastle looks like a toy box too.
