Now is as good a time as any to bring this up..
The whole "castle wall" idea troubles me. DLP does this and it's out of scale, seems to come out of nowhere and/or is unrelated to the surroundings where it's placed. I'm talking about the left side of the castle if you're facing it from the rear (from Fantasyland). It's near where the poor abandoned windmill bucket ferris wheel is and the not so great entrance to the storybookland canal boats and their crappy version of Casey. It stretches out and makes a shop and some dining options part of the "Castle" that would otherwise be part of the suckey-ride-trifecta before you get to the passage to Discoveryland.
It's big, it's imposing, and it looks weird.
And on the same note, it makes those three rides feel like they're cut off and foating in unrelated space to the rest of Fantasyland. It's hard to explain but getting to those rides you have to go down and under sort of like DL's ToonTown. then they have the closed windmills right there at the choke point, the sad version of the storybookland with it's boat being pulled on obvious underwater winch chains, and then Casey which has no scenery as it doesn't go through storybook and generally has no plot or soundtrack or anything.
It's all very odd and disjointed and looks like this new "Fantasy Forest" concept already attempted. I hope that it plays out better in WDW.

Who's bashing the Pixar characters?
The point is that Pixar characters have popped up EVERYWHERE in Disney parks the past few years, and it would be much appreciated if it was scaled back a bit.
A lot of major additions have added Pixar characters. Submarine Voyage, Buzz Lightyear, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Stitch show at Magic Kingdom, Stitch's Great Escape, Stitch in the Tiki Room, Stitch Toilet papering Cinderella's Castle, Toy Story Midway Mania, additions to IASW, Cars Land, etc etc etc. A disproportionate number of new things prominently feature Pixar characters.

Not to be overly nerdy, but Stitch is not a Pixar character.
Besides, there are currently no Pixar films that fit into the European realm of Fantasyland (except the forthcoming Bear and the Bow).Jaleel White does not approve.

someone brought this up in a different message board - If the name is Fantasy Forest, how does Ariel and the Dumbo Carnival fit in? Ariel's Undersea Adventure is the last thing I think of when it comes to a forest setting/theme

I really don't see how dlp's Storybookland has anything to do with the Fantasy Forest from WDW?... Those castle walls you are talking about are not very imposing to me, as I had to look it up in a book, it never bothered me obviously... Dlp's Casey Jr. HAS a great soundtrack and is in my opinion a great attraction [they should have it open more often though...].
As for the Fantasy Forest, I think it will only be a "working name", maybe something to advertise with, but do you all think they will put up signs and stuff for this? I don't think so...

Casey Jr. is in the plans and you can actually see the casey train in all the concept art. In the Dumbo Circus art look to the left behind the carousel, in the overhead view of dumbo look to the right.
Alot of the land is still blue-sky so Casey Jr. may end up being planned for phase 2 rather than opening day. Though I think the ride should be there come 2011.

And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)
