As newly minted AP holders, the other half and I go to WDW about once a week. We'd like to go the AKL just to have a meal and do some shopping but don't know if this is frowned upon for non-guests. We would not try to use the pool or anything like that. Has anyone done this? Are they ok with non guest public area only visitors?![]()

I think it's fine. You can eat at the restaurants even if you are not staying at the resort. But don't try to use the pool or something like that. They probably would want you to come visit the resorts so maybe you might decide to stay sometime.
I love Disneyland!!!!

It's not only fine, it's common. We'll be eating at no less than five resorts other than our own during our October trip.
Please tell me you're going to AKL so you can eat at Jiko! It will change your life! Boma is okay, but Jiko is phenomenal.Jaleel White does not approve.
