    Well, I can talk from experiance about state tests.

    New York is the worst state for tests. Every kid must pass about 10 of the tests to graduate.
    Every year, teachers teach according to the tests. So we are taught how answers, not how to solve things.

    Okay, I'm not making that much sense. But ask your kids. The tests start when you're in second grade.
