I just read that and wondered:
- Did somebody just shake the Ole Grand Wizard and he thought he was still talking about Bush?
- Is he really still a racist and just realized that there is a black man in the henhouse?
- Has he finally read the Constitution and thus he is just now coming to his senses?
You guys gotta read the comments section of the link. Priceless! Just awhile back, Byrd was an esteemed fixture in the Senate for Democrats; now he is vilified in the very first comment posted because he disagrees with "The One".

Quote is from the comments section of that story:
To which I answer that with another quote: "So this is how liberty dies....with thunderous applause." Padme - Star Wars.I say good, let these "czars" do what they need to do for a while, it almost certainly couldn't make it any worse, could it?
There's no surprise, though, that it turns out that the only feeling the libs had for W was jealousy. THEY wanted the all-encompassing power that they accused Bush of having all these years. Didn't take long, either.

My opinion is that Byrd is just ticked off because with the new people leading the Democratic power, he has basically been castrated. He will no longer be able to pull in huge amounts of government pork to build unnecessary facilities in WVa.
Now all that pork will go to other states.

You're probably right, Instidude. And it was probably the reason for the majority of the whining coming from the left during W's tenure.

Isn't his the guy who was the leader of the KKK? Where has he been for the past year that it takes him so long to form an opinion about Obama?
