Fun Facts
- This attraction opened at Disneyland on May 24, 1998. It originally opened at Walt Disney World on November 21, 1994.
- The Magic Eye Theater was formerly housed in this location and played Captain EO in 3D from September 9, 1986 to April 6, 1997. As a tribute to the former attraction, the startup sound of the shrinking ray in the show is the same sound effect used for the startup of Captain EO’s ship. Before its existence as the Magic Eye Theater, this location was home to the Tomorrowland Terrace where live entertainment and musical acts performed.
- This attraction is based on the movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989) and its sequels
- The original cast of actors for the Szalinski family in the Honey I Blew Up the Kid (1992) reprised their roles in this attraction. In addition, Eric Idle portrays the new character Dr. Nigel Channing of the Imagination Institute in the attraction.
