Fun Facts

  • This attraction officially opened June 3, 2011.
  • Composer John Williams worked with Disney Imagineering to create the attraction's new soundtrack. Passages from the original film scores are used in in new musical sequences for various places around attraction. The cabin music is taken straight from original recordings.[1]
  • Composer Michael Giacchino created additional arrangements of various Star Wars themes for the commercials and pre-show videos.
