MC Update Mockup 1080p

MouseInfo contributor @VashSky strikes again with a brand new infographic taking a look at more goings on at the Disneyland Resort; this time with an emphasis on upcoming projects NOT related to the new Star Wars themed land.

Armed with info from the latest update on MiceChat.com, the new image gives a bit more insight on the Disneyland Resort’s 5-year plan now that the 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration is winding to an end. Amongst the interesting tidbits were some pieces of information already discussed previously including the third Disneyland Resort Hotel and the upcoming parking structure on the current Pumba Lot.

The graphic gives a sense of the scale and perspective for the upcoming redevelopment project. MiceChat continues to hold a September closing date for the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror despite Disney themselves recently confirming the availability of the ride during the upcoming Halloween Time season.

Other details include additional info on the Disneyland Resort’s new parking structures, hotel, and even an expansion of Disney California Adventure Park taking up space currently occupied by the Bus and Shuttle drop-off area east of the Esplanade. Disneyland Park is already in the process of its largest expansion in the park’s 61 year history with the construction of the massive 14-acre Star Wars themed land (which VashSky also elucidated in an awesome infographic here) and when examining the 5-year plan listed in the article and noted in the graphic, the Disneyland Resort itself would be undertaking the largest redevelopment project since 2001’s opening of Disney California Adventure Park.

It’s an exciting time to be a theme park fan and MouseInfo will be here to give you all the news and updates along the way!
