IN DEPTH: Walt Disney Archives Presents DISNEYLAND: THE EXHIBIT at #D23EXPO

Although the D23 EXPO officially kicks off tomorrow, a special preview evening was held for media and guests who bought the premium Sorcerer’s package. MouseInfo was invited for the special sneak peek at Walt Disney Archives Presents DISNEYLAND: THE EXHIBIT which is chock full of beautiful displays showcasing tons of great pieces of theme park history.

From Walt Disney’s own “#1” employee badge to Roy Disney’s “000001” official first entrance ticket to Disneyland, there’s a lot of great vintage Disneyland history to take in. Other notable items are the awesome attraction pieces from Alice in Wonderland, Matterhorn, and even some pieces from entertainment options like Fantasmic!, Main Street Electrical Parade, and A Christmas Fantasy Parade.

We can sit and try to explain every single piece but we’d be here all day long! It really is a joy to see such loving care to assemble this really fascinating display. For nostalgia fans it might almost be worth it alone for the price of admission into the D23 EXPO!

Walt Disney Archives Presents DISNEYLAND: THE EXHIBIT is available with admission into the D23 EXPO. The D23 EXPO takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 – 16.
