In Hollywood, a cosmetic refresh here and there is far from uncommon and even Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are not immune from the allure.
In new photos posted by RDC, we find the dynamic duo with a prominent Shanghai Disney Resort logo backdrop from a recent event to promote the park. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse’s faces have been updated seemingly to include chubbier cheeks and taller eyes.
The changes are certainly subtle but help them fall more inline with the character’s CG digital appearance that have been in use for several years on merchandise and on the “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” television show.

Which character would you like to see also get updated?
Still needs work, and their clothes are (always) bad. Make them overall smaller, more classic cartoonish facial features without flesh tones and finally get them to talk. Refresh all the characters so their size doesn’t freak kids out and add voices. It’s 2016 there has to be a way.
They cannot get much smaller. Normal people height is 5’4″. Mic and min are shorter than that. They cannot get shorter any more than you can.
Dislike!!!! Extremely dislike! The heads look out of proportion compared to the current look! I hope they do not bring this style to U.S. parks!
