MENU TASTING: A full look at the expansive new Lamplight Lounge food and drink menu!
Lamplight Lounge has made its debut and it brings with it a fantastical array of exciting new menu items to try. We got to step inside the restaurant ourselves last week to get a taste of the fantastic new menu offerings courtesy of Disney.
The newly updated location features a fun and whimsical menu that delivers high marks both on taste AND presentation. The menu is specially crafted to appeal both to taste and sight senses; perfectly suitable for social media sharing.
We certainly couldn’t taste it all but we do have a look at just about every food item on the menu and a nice look at some of the best non-alcoholic mocktails on the menu.

There’s a lot of options on the drink menu but we opted to go all-in on tasting as much as we could from the mocktail menu.
The double-sided coasters are uber collectible!
2319 is a Non-Alcoholic Mocktail with Frozen Strawberry Purée, Cream of Coconut, Pineapple Juice topped with Coca-Cola. $6.50.
Probably our favorite non-alcoholic drink on the menu the flavors blend together super well and the Coca-Cola might sound like a turn off but it’s presence is almost superflous adding a bit of fizz but hardly making this feel like soda with some other stuff in it. This is a really wonderful drink.
Infinity Fizz features Powerade Mountain Berry Blast, Apple Juice, and Cherry Pearls. $7.
It’s a small portion so you’re definitely paying for the show factor here. It tastes great and the pearls are both fun to look at and eat!
Goofball Island with Simply Fruit Punch, Odwalla Lemonade, and Raspberry Puree. $6.50.
So tasty, a good bet if you want a more “normal” drink.
Mint To Be
Mint To Be features Simply Lemonade, Watermelon and Berry puree with fresh Mint and topped with Soda Water. $6.
Like a fruity non-alcoholic mojito. Refreshing!
Open Ocean with a Splash
Open Ocean with a Splash is berry good! It has Bacardi raspberry rum, Bols Blue Curacao, Liquid Alchemist Orgeat, agave nectar, and fresh lime juice.
🎡 FAN FAVORITE!
Lobster Nachos are back and just about the same as before featuring warm Lobster and House-made Tortilla Chips with Black Bean, Pico de Gallo, Chipotle Crema, an Aged Cheddar, and Oaxaca Cheese. $20.
Always a solid choice. A nice portion, definitely enough to share.
Crispy Piggy Wings
Crispy Piggy Wings are oddly named for a dish that features Pork Drumettes with Chili-Ginger Glaze, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Cilantro, and Slaw. $17.00
Probably our favorite new thing on the menu. The meat is moist and so tender it falls off the bone yet the outside is crispy and delicious. We asked for ours to have sauce on the side so we could control the heat. This ended up being a fantastic call because it made the meal easier to eat with your hands, too.
Tuna Poke features Yellowfin Tuna under “Rice Bowl” with Magic Watermelon, Avocado, Edamame, Shishito Peppers, and Spiced Mango Nectar. $18.
This is a delight! The underneath a “rice bowl” dome that you crack with a spoon to create chips to accompany the dish. The presentation is fun and the flavors are really fantastic. It’s a refreshing change to typical theme park fare and it’s great to finally see the Disneyland Resort embrace the magic of raw fish entrees.
Deviled Eggs and Toast

Deviled Eggs and Toast feature creamy Egg Salad, Toasted Almond Romesco Sauce, Dill, Manchego Crisp, and Toast. $12.
I know, it sounds completely random. Deviled Eggs, really? But the flavors here are phenomenal. I was worried how an entree featuring just two eggs would satisfy when eggs are the point of the dish and Disney has found a way here. All the flavors pair together so well, this was a really fantastic treat if you aren’t terribly hungry.
🎡 UNIQUE TASTES
Potato Skins crispy Yukon Gold Potatoes with Brown Butter-Caper Yogurt, Smoked Paprika Aïoli, and Manchego Cheese. $14.
This dish won’t satisfy, we’re only showing three in the picture because we’d already eaten two by the time we realized we forgot to photograph it. These are not skins in the traditional sense. It’s like a giant flattened tatter tot and it’s DELICIOUS. The yogurt and aioli on the side are really great flavors that pair well with the crispy potato.
Crab and Tuna Roll
Crab and Tuna Roll features Stone Crab with Avocado, Jicama, Yellowfin Tuna, and Fireball-Yuzu Sauce. $19.
The dish does not disappoint if you’re having a hankering for some sushi. It’s truthfully not entirely unique other than the fact that sushi is so hard to come by at the Disneyland Resort. A refreshing choice but the price doesn’t really seem to reflect anything other than a standard sushi roll.
Carne Asada Roll
Carne Asada Roll Grilled New York Strip Steak, Roasted Fresno Chili Salsa, Escabèche, and Crema. $17.
We didn’t dislike this dish but didn’t find a whole lot to write home about. Perhaps served warm it might be a more enticing dish.
Grilled Chicken Salad
Grilled Chicken Salad features Grilled Romaine, Marinated Tomato and Cucumbers, Feta, Piquillo Pepper Hummus, Olive Tapenade, and Green Dressing. $21.
This one is so completely unassuming based on its very bland name. Look at the awesomeness on that plate! Can’t wait to try this one.
Spinach Salad features curly Spinach with warm Wild Mushrooms, Soft Poached Egg, Charred Onion Vinaigrette, Shitake “Bacon”, and Blue Cheese Toast. $21.
This also has quite an unassuming name for a dish that seems to pack a unique flavor profile. Also looking forward to trying this one.
Ratatouille with Roasted Eggplant and Bell Pepper Ragoût with Zucchini Noodles, warm Burrata Cheese, Smoked Tomato Sauce, and Basil Aïoli. $19.
Cheddar Burger grilled custom Burger blend with Tillamook Cheddar, Roasted Plum Tomato, Red Onion, Avocado Ranch Spread, and Toasted Amish Bun served with Malted Fries. $22.
Salmon PLT features Grilled Salmon with crispy Pancetta, Romaine Lettuce, Roasted Plum Tomato, Lemon-Bacon Aïoli, and Toasted Focaccia served with Malted Fries. $23.
Chicken Grilled Tenders with Sweet Orange Sauce served with a flower pot of Veggies with Hummus and fresh Fruit. Meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines for Complete Meals without substitutions. $10.00
This is the only menu item that is “Mickey Check” (meaning it meets Disney Nutrition Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar.)
PB and J Roll features a creamy Peanut Butter and Whole Wheat “Roll” with Strawberry Jelly served with a flower pot of Veggies with Hummus and fresh Fruit $8.
Pasta features Corkscrew Pasta with creamy Cheese Sauce and Cheddar Fish served with a flower pot of Veggies with Hummus and fresh Fruit. $10.
Burger Slider is Mini Burger with Cheese and Pickles served with a flower pot of Veggies with Hummus and fresh Fruit. $10.00
Normally when there’s only ONE dessert on the menu it can be disappointing but when there’s only one dessert on the men you also have the expectation that that ONE dessert better be good. Luckily, Disney has met that expectation with the Donuts.
Yeah, it’s “just” donuts but they are made fresh; fluffy and soft but also lightly crispy and sweet. Served with an amazing warm chocolate dipping sauce and a fun berry sauce that has popping crystals in it. And it’s packaged in a to-go box making it travel friendly to enjoy later if you can’t possibly have another bite after your meal.
