PICTORIAL: Getting some Tsum amidst lovely weather, construction and refurbs at Disneyland Resort

The release of new Pirates of the Caribbean Tsum Tsums at Disneyland Resort brought us into the happiest place on earth on Friday morning.

In addition to securing a few of the adorably addicting little plushies, we caught a look at on-going work for Star Wars Land, the soon-to-open Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, saw more purchasables in the shops, and visited the Mad T Party as it heads into its final month before off with its head!

Disney finally confirmed a March 7 opening for Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters attraction that replaces Luigi’s Flying Tires.

Yarrrrr!

Squaaack!

Wind in the sails!

Yo ho!

Seriously, shut up and take my money.

Why are Tsum Tsums so cute?

Zootopia cross promotion at Award Wieners. Get a Zootopia Souvenir Tumbler for $8.29 with your choice of drink.

Try the Banana Corn Dogs, made with a honey batter and topped with powdered sugar. They are served with chocolate and red “popsicle” raspberry dipping sauce. They are pretty fantastic, $5.99 for two.

The doctor was in. Or I guess she was out… and about! She may be getting a new pal soon as the Doc McStuffins family is going to be a adopting a new sibling in an upcoming episode.

Wanted to get a picture with Baymax for the final week of #APDays however there was a private event which meant bumpkis for us.

On Sunday though, the final day for AP Days, we were able to get our chance to see Baymax.

Reminds me of the days when there was such a thing as an off season!

Neat and pretty.

Not much reason to be back here!

Open, open, open!

Cover girl! But the bass in your walk. Head to toe, let your whole body talk!

Or just be “Goofy.”

Toon Town is being digitally remastered for a sharper crisper HD image…

Mostly that means it’s getting some new paint.

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is still open.

Stores are still open despite the gussying up outside.

Breaklights up a head.

Still waters up ahead.

Do not enter.

Visting Tiana. We told her how much we’d like to enjoy a spot of tea with her.

Oh, dam?

Sailing Ship Columbia.

No breakfast here.

Spidey merch.

Tons and tons of Star Wars merch.

Merchy merch merch.

A lovely evening to end a lovely day.

Ending the evening at the Mad T Party!

THE END!

I've been on MouseInfo since 2005. I was a casual Disney fan until my visit to Disneyland on July 17, 2005. Since then, I've been hooked and haven't looked back!
