One thing that’s certain about the newest Star Wars films is that there is a definite tangibility to them. Just like the original saga stories, ROGUE ONE took advantage of our own planet’s dramatically diverse landscapes to bring to life the worlds of the Star Wars universe.

A new clip released by Disney gives a little insight into turning real world destinations into fantastical far off places. The production for ROGUE ONE went all around the world including Jordan, the Maldives and Iceland!
