One of the most beloved Disney animated movies of all time recently became one of the top grossing films for 2017 when it was relaunched as a live-action reboot. While we may somewhat wince with every announcement of a new live action movie reboot, it seems that the trend is quite lucrative and really, Disney is doing a pretty decent job with it.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is no exception. And while it wasn’t perfection, it was it was pretty great, and the newly released Blu-ray is pretty awesome, as well.

Hopefully, Disney will continue this trend with live action remakes announced for THE LITTLE MERMAID, ALADDIN, and the THE LION KING, which we got a sneak peek at the D23 Expo.

While in the past, DVD’s and even Blu-ray’s have come with slim pickings in terms of Bonus Features, this is not the cast for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!  With three versions of the film, hours of behind-scenes footage, there is something for everyone.

This is definitely a must-own for me. The audio, the picture, the Bonus Features, everything about the BEAUTY AND THE BEAST Blu-ray was just as enchanting as the film. I can’t wait to see what else Disney has in store for the other live action releases they have planed.
