LEGO DC SUPER-VILLAINS unleashed with announcements, teases, peeks at #SDCC
LEGO X DC. What’s not to love? Sure there’s no Marvel tie-in but it’s LEGO! What’s not to love? In this panel we got to see the team behind the LEGO DC Super-Villains video game talk about the upcoming offering.
Panelists included Arthur Parsons (head of design, TT Games) and fan-favorite Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy, along with Tara Strong (voice of Harley Quinn), Julie Nathanson (voice of Silver Banshee), Fred Tatasciore (voice of Solomon Grundy, Clayface, Black Adam, Killer Croc), Ames Kirshen (VP, Interactive & Animation, DC Entertainment), Justin Ramsden (Designer, Super Heroes, The LEGO Group) and host Andrea Rene (What’s Good Games).
This game has a fun and unique twist in that it is a villain-centric adventure and in the panel we learned more about locations (a biggest-ever map that includes Amusement Mile park) and characters (such as Silver Banshee, Black Adam, Lobo, and Darkseid) from across the DC Universe. What that means is that the baddies to defeat in this game… ARE THE HEROES! That’s why we got to see iconic Kevin Conroy who returns to voice Batman and there’s no better pairing to that Batman than Mark Hamill who was confirmed to voice Joker!
LEGO DC Super-Villains video game launches October 16, 2018.
