Walt Disney World is making a significant change to its ticketing options introducing date-based tickets (with peak-day pricing structures in tact).

The DisneyWorld.com website will update on October 16 with the changes that include an interactive online calendar that displays different prices based on the dates guests choose to visit. Dated tickets and states tickets will need to be used during a specific time period as outlined on the website.

The new ticket buying process is also tied into the My Disney Experience mobile app system to help continue guests on their course of planning their Walt Disney World vacation once they’ve purchase their admission media.

Expect the date-based tickets with peak-pricing models to launch October 16.
