It was another incredibly busy weekend at the Disneyland Resort as people crowd in to get their final looks at all the offerings for Disney’s Halloween Time celebration. It’s becoming increasingly apparent that what used to be an off season for Disney Parks is quickly beginning to rival crowds traditionally only seen in December.
On our visit this weekend, we caught up on a bunch of projects wrapping up around the parks including refurbishments and enhancements plus a look at on-going construction in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the re-started progress on Pixar Pier, the new Marvel-themed super hero land, and more.
Meanwhile, as Halloween Time winds down, the Disney Holidays are already ramping up with holiday lights appearing on “it’s a small world” and an entire massive section of holiday themed merchandise at the newly reopened World of Disney in Downtown Disney. On-going construction continues in the shopping district to bring more dining and shopping options.
Aside from the Christmas merchandise, we’ll have a nice little merch run for you with a bunch of must-have items. All of this and more in our latest park pictorial. ENJOY!

Walls are finally all down on Main Street following the facade enhancements.
The former Main Street Cone Shop still bears the cone motif from its former glory days.
We’re still yet to see the Main Street side of the new wall at the Enchanted Tiki Room.
Tropical Hideaway is slowly starting to see more progress.
New thatching has been placed covering exposed wood that sat unchanged for several weeks prior to the start of the new fiscal year.
Frontierland pathway to the castle is still closed.
Matterhorn Bobsleds continue along towards a November 16 reopening.
Prominent Single Rider signage for the Matterhorn Bobsleds are just part of the enhancements on the queue.
“it’s a small world” is getting strings of lights — or at least — light-ready strings with sockets that sit empty for now. The attraction closes after this weekend for its conversion to “it’s a small world” Holiday. It should be set to enchant starting November 6.
“it’s a small world” Toy Shop is starting to be revealed as tarps and walls come down.

Halloween Time rages on!
Dia de Los Muertos celebrated all season long in Paradise Park.
Peter Parker’s book bag dropped on the balcony in Hollywood Land. Mrs. Warren might not be so happy about that science book dangling so precariously.
Spider-Man and all the Marvel heroes will soon have a land of their own at Disney California Adventure as the resort begins removing a bug’s land from the park.
Demolition is finally visible on the land, notably here with the Bug’s Life Theatre.
The familiar giant clovers are still in place as is most of the greenery hiding views into the progress going on in the land.
Probably time for this signage to be removed about Pixar Pier although there’s still plenty more to come to the new land.
The Luxo Jr. lamp has yet to be revealed.
World of Color‘s lengthy refurbishment continues on.
Jessie’s Critter Carousel continues to move along since the start of the fiscal year. New refurbishment walls have popped up around the site.
The INSIDE OUT Emotional Whirlwind is also coming as demolition continues on the former Maliboomer site.
